WWII causes.

The World War II was the biggest and most destructive conflict in the human history. Half of American countries and almost all Europa (with its respective colonies in Africa Asia and Oceania) were implicated in the conflict even in different degrees. The war matched two factions: The Allies (France, The United Kingdom and subsequently USA and the URSS) against the Axis (Germany, Italy and Japan, mainly).

The beginning of this originated at the end of the World War I. Germany was a member of the Allies, the defeated faction in the WWI. Because of the damages caused by Germany in France during the Great War (World War I) strict conditions were imposed to the 2^nd Reich by the Entente Cordiale members. They were very specific regarding the dissolution of the German armed forces and the seizure of the natural resources and raw material as a payment to France. These regulations were included in the Versailles Pact with some annexation of territory of the old German Empire in Prussia, Poland and Africa.

Third Reich territory during the war

A growing resentment spread in German people because of the coward reaction of the Weimar Republic (the government established by the Entente) against this regulations gave the opportunity to the nationalist groups to fight for the power. The National Socialist Party of workers in Germany lead by Adolf Hitler, an ex-soldier of the WWI was one of them. The extreme and hostile tactics against the opposition went back to NSAP and Adolf Hitler in the governing party after the death of Hindenburg, the last president of the Weimar Republic. As a chancellor, Hitler dissolved the German congress concentrating all the power in himself. He could do this because he convinced the German people (with his oral ability in public presentations) the congress and the bureaucrats supported the Versailles Pact and the foreign control. No less than a year of having taken control Hitler proclaimed himself Imperial Chancellor of the Third Reich, and subsequently Fürer of the Third Reich. With his policies of Vital Space Hitler wanted to recover all the territory that the second Reich had lost in WWI AND MORE. In secrets, during the first years of his government before the war (1931-1939), he prepared and reconstructed the Wehrmacht (Germany armed forces) and developed new weapons and war machines (Stukas, U-Bots, Panzers, Panzerfaust, etc).

In September 1939 some Polish custom agents killed in a riot some German citizens in the border of the country. Hitler saw in this the perfect excuse to occupy Poland declared the state of war to its neighbor. On 9^th September 1939, the Wehrmacht invaded Poland and encountering little resistance. Warsaw fell 3 weeks later. The United Kingdom and France declared state of war to Germany, the fascist Italy of Mussolini joined to Germany to form the Axis. Having seen the opportunity of taking control of the British colonies in the Pacific region, Japan joined the Axis and invaded Manchuria, China. Japan, wishing to establish a total control in the East-Pacific Ocean wanted to take the Philippines (at that time it was a USA colony) so the Major Hideki Töjo planned to destroy the US Navy in its ports. On December 7^th 1941, while Japanese ambassadors were discussing in the USA Congress the causes of the war, a Japanese fleet attacked Pearl Harbor, the main base of the USA Navy in the Pacific. The next day the USA declared war to Japan and the Axis, becoming an intercontinental conflict into a new World War.

The origins of the WWII are not only the invasion of Poland by Germany as most people think. The real origins could be found since the end of the WWI and there were a lot of difference things in different areas (economics, politics, geopolitics, militaries, etc.) that were related to create a massive conflict.

Reflection.

This was an easy essay for me, or at least a few little easier than the others because I actually knew what I writing about, I knew the topic. As an expository essay the language to use is more general than personal and it is easier to write in this way because you are really writing for anybody in specific, nor you are trying to convince anyone of anything.
